The Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain is holding its first online dog show on Facebook. Entries close on Friday December 11th at 9pm.
The show is free to enter and is open to all Italian Spinoni!!!! ISCGB members and non-members, including overseas entries (awards will not be sent outside of the UK though.)
To enter you can send your photos with what class you wish to enter and the dogs age at the time the photo was taken (for the age restricted classes) to either Leanne Challands at leannec@italianspinone.co.uk or Julie Kelly at juliek@italianspinone.co.uk, who will put your photos in the relevant classes for you. A list of classes is shown below.
Photos are NOT to feature owners or handlers, nor the dogs name or kennel name. Children may feature on the best family photo but that is the only exception.
Photos do not have to be show photos, this show is open to all. Sat, stood and action photos are perfectly acceptable and all judging will be done fairly. You can enter your dogs in any class as long as the dog fits the description of the class when the photo was taken. Not your dogs age or classification on the day of sending the photo in. Entries will close 9pm on 11/12/20. Any photos sent in after the show has closed will not be added to the show. Winners will be announced on our Facebook group after judging has been completed (hopefully within a week, depending on volume of entries)
Judges will be announced just before the announcement of winners.
The classes are as follows….
•Handsomest Dog (open to all dogs)
•Prettiest Bitch (open to all bitches)
•Best dual purpose HPR (open to all working and show dogs, photo of both working & show stack)
•Best working only spinoni (open to all working spinoni)
•Best action shot (open to all)
•Best family photo (open to all, two or more to feature on the photo, can be any animal or child mix, but must feature a spinone)
•Baby Puppy (0-5 months)
•Minor puppy (6-8 months)
•Puppy (9-11 months)
•Junior (12-18 months)
•Special yearling (19-24 months)
•Post grad (open to all not to have won 3 1st at a champ show)
•Limit (open to all, not to have won more than 6 1st at a champ show)
•Open (open to all)
•Champion class (open to all champions and show champions)
•Veteran (7-10 years)
•Vintage (11+ years)
•Rainbow Bridge (open to all that are sadly no longer with us, dog/s can still be entered in other classes if the photo fits the criteria)
There will be a prize for Best in show, reserve best in show, best puppy in show, reserve best puppy in show, best veteran in show and reserve best veteran in show. We would appreciate if you could send us your address upon receiving awards. Virtual certificates will be awarded for 1st-5th place in all classes. BIS will be taken from ALL 1st places in ALL classes. RBIS to be taken from ALL first places in ALL classes or 2nd place to the BIS. BPIS to be taken from baby puppy, minor puppy & puppy. RBPIS to be taken from baby puppy, minor puppy & puppy, or 2nd place to BPIS. BVIS to be taken from veteran and vintage. RBVIS to be taken from veteran and vintage or 2nd place to BVIS.
